Small terrace-Lavilledieu
Small terrace-Lavilledieu is a common French, located in the department the Dordogne and the area Aquitaine. Its inhabitants is called Terrassonnais.
The city
While arriving at Terrasson, near to the Corrèze and the Batch, one returns in the black Périgord. The city is crossed by the Vézère. The city is crossed by the Trunk road 89, on a portion where the French Autoroute A89 is always in work (until 2008); this is why the crossing of this commune is sometimes difficult (stoppers). In 2008, the commune will be located near new the Aéroport of Brive - Souillac.
History
Following the fusion of the old communes of Villedieu and Small terrace in 1963, the common one initially bore the name of Small terrace-the-Villedieu which was changed in 1997 in Small terrace-Lavilledieu .
