Small sphinx of the vine

The small sphinx of the vine ( Deilephila porcellus ), or small pourceau , is a Lépidoptère pertaining to Sphingidae.

  • Distribution: palearctic area Western.
  • Scale of the male: from 20 to 23 Misters
  • Period of flight: from May to July, a generation, sometimes a second in August generation and September.
  • Plant-hosts: Epilobium , Gallium , Euphorbia , Vitis .
