Small-Saguenay
Small-Saguenay is a Municipalité Quebec, (Canada), belonging to the regional Municipalité of county (MRC) of the Fjord-of-Saguenay the, located in the administrative area of the Saguenay-Lake-Saint-Jean.
Small-Saguenay its name draws from the Rivière Small Saguenay, one of the rivers with salmon of Quebec. As for the other villages of the fjord of Saguenay, the village is located in the middle of a handle and a steepsided valley. The first navigators, by going up the Saguenay river in 1838 and entering the handle, discovered a small river from where the Small-Saguenay toponym.
