Small-Réderching
Small-Réderching is a common French, located in the department of the the Moselle and the basin of life of the Moselle-is.
Geography
At the sources of the Bickenalb, in country discovered, the village-street of Small-Réderching is located on a old Voie, the Kœnigstrasse (the royal Route ), while its variation of Meyerhof developed in second half of the 19th century, along the Route of Sarreguemines to Bitche built 1722 with 1724.
History
Several Gallo-Roman villas was discovered on the Ban of the Village, mentioned in 1575 in the form Riderchingen , of the Germanic name of man Roderich , with the substantive Klein (Small) to differentiate it from Large-Réderching. The Village appears in second half of the 16th century in connection with the establishment of Verrerie S. Its true rise, however, date of the period which follows the Guerre Thirty Year old with the setting in Culture of the glass essartages and the regrouping of the Ban S of several disappeared Village S.From the point of view of spiritual, Small-Réderching of Bettviller in the archpriest of Hornbach until in 1802 is branch, then passed in that of Rohrbach. Administration
From the administrative point of view, the Village belongs to the Canton of Rohrbach-lès-Bitche since 1790, even if in 1801 and 1802, it is placed in that of Volmunster.
Demography
The appreciable increase very in the Population since the beginning of the 20th century, passing from 703 inhabitants in 1817 with 807 in 1852 to reach 1447 inhabitants with the Census of 1982, is partly explained by the regrouping of small activities the on the site of Meyerhof , whose development is due to the creation of the Railway of Sarreguemines to Bitche in 1869.

- a monumental Martyrdom set up with the crossroads of the Road of Bettviller and street Holy-Cross, which owes its curious disproportionate pace with the absence of Fût. Set up in 1779 with the expenses of the husbands Jakob Schuck and Anna Faber, it is made of a made base of two faced console S framing a Cartouche bay-tree, supporting the Statue S in round bump, a little Hiératique S and naively scuptées, of the Blessed Virgin and holy Jean. High a cross is drawn up between them, representing the three people of the Trinité: the Christ in cross, the Dove of the outgoing Holy Spirit of a cloud and God the blessing Father, placed in damping of the amount. Carved in the sandstone, the Calvaire is entirely polychrome, like very often in the Pays of Bitche, and the inscription engraved at the base of the cross points out the sufferings of the Christ, larger qu those of the passer by: " O ihr ale die den Weg vorüber gehet, mercket doch und sehet ob ihrgens ein Schmertz gleicht meinem Schmertz " .
