The Slovenska Obveščevalno-Varnostna Agencija (Slovenien safety and information Agency, SOVA) is the main thing Intelligence service of Slovenia. It takes care to preserve the national security of the country in the fields policy and economic. The legal base of the activity of the SOVA, independent governmental service, is governed by the relative law with the SOVA, is adopted in 1999 and is amended in 2003.
