Slither Link
Slither Link , so known under the name of Fences (fences), Loop the Loop (to buckle the loop) and Dotty Dilemma (dilemma of the points) is a play of logic published by the Japanese editor Nikoli. In 2005, Nikoli had published 17 pounds entirely dedicated to Slither Link.
Rules
The Slither Link is played on a formed rectangular matrix of points. Between these points, one finds sometimes numbers (between 0 and 3). The objective is to connect horizontally or vertically the adjacent points in order to create a continuous single line. Moreover, the numbers indicate the number on sides of the line which must be adjacent with the number. For example, if a box contains number 3, three on its sides must be touched by the continuous feature. One often indicates X a line impossible to create.
History
The Slither Link is an original headache of Nikoli, published for the first time in Puzzle Communication Nikoli n°26 (June 1989). In the first version, all the boxes included/understood a number.
