Sliema

Sliema is a Maltese locality , located at 5 km in the north of Valetta.

Population: approximately 20.000 inhabitants. It is an old fishing port. The sea front a 5 km length is bordered of hotels of restaurants and residential buildings. Several shopping malls (Plazza, Towers), of many shops and international signs (Zara, Bershka, Urban Jungle, etc), of the fast-food (McDonald's, Kfc) and of the churches (in particular that of Jesus de Nazareth, Jesu Nazarenu Digatum ). It is, with San Ġiljan, one of the most alive places of Malta.
