Slavonski Brod

Slavonski Brod is a port city in Croatia of 64.612 inhabitants in 2001. Formerly it was known under its Roman name of Marsonia. Slavonski Brod is the sixth city of the country. It is located in the area of Slavonie and is the chief town of the comitat ( županija ) of Slavonski Brod - Posavina. The definition of its name is: brod wants to say Croatian boats
