Skweek
Skweek - sometimes called Slider - is a Video game published in 1989. Conceived by Laurent Arditi and Stephan Ducasse, it in the beginning was marketed by the French editor Loriciel for the personal computers Amiga, Atari ST and Amstrad CPC. Adaptations are appeared in 1991 on the console S PC Engine of NEC and Game GEAR of Sega.
Gameplay
The concept of play combines addresses and strategy. The player must direct a fluffy character named Skweek in a maze colored in blue. Each passage on a flagstone transforms it into pink. The principal goal is to color all the boxes pink, pointing out the principle of traditional the Q*bert . Many obstacles, mechanisms, monsters, etc complicate the task of Skweek, which has a panoply of weapons and no-claims bonus to arrive at its ends.
Super Skweek
Appeared in 1991, Super Skweek , the second opus, takes again the principle of its predecessor while multiplying the tables, the monsters, no-claims bonus, etc the play was published for Amiga, Atari ST, Amstrad CPC and Lynx comforts it. This last version is generally regarded as the most succeeded of all.
Tiny Skweeks
A third variation arrived in 1992, Tiny Skweeks , sometimes called The Brainies . The play was developed by Atreid Concept and it left on Amiga, Atari ST, Amstrad CPC and DOS.Thereafter, of the projects to carry Skweek and Super Skweek on modern computers or portables (telephones, consoles, PDAs, etc) were put in building site. Laurent Arditi works within ARM and Stephan Ducasse works with the development of Squeak .
