Sizerin flame

The sizerin flame is a Passereau primarily Insectivore originating in the septentrional Toundra, Asia and North America and whose certain varieties are regarded as domestic in French right.

Description

The sizerins flames are distinguished thanks to a very visible red cap. Their nozzle is yellow, their throat is black and their reddish breast piece.

Systematic

Three pennies species are distinguished:
  • Carduelis flammea flammea
  • Carduelis flammea holboellii
  • Carduelis flammea rostrata
