Synopsis

October 1952, Bergerac. Aurélien, 10 years, accompanies his/her parents at the station. Michel, his father, leaves food to Paris for professional reasons. He will return certain weekends and during the holidays, while waiting for that its small family joins it, not before a year. After the good-byes, follow-ups of a film show, the hour of the return sounds for the small boy and his mom, Simone, midwife. She is called during the night for a childbirth and must leave her child alone. The following day, Aurélien, that his/her mother still did not join, makes its return to school in sixth. He does not know anybody and must be made buddies in this new universe. To attract the sympathy of a classmate, Alexandre Consolat, it invents a sister residing at the United States… A few days later, charged like other schoolboys to sell stamps against tuberculosis, it sounds with the door of Corded, a couple of pensioners. There, he says himself orphan, war orphan, described the life with the sanatorium of his adoptive father and the financial problems of his family of reception….
