It is located at the crossing of the departments of the the Vosges, the Meuse and the Meurthe-et-Moselle. The respectively frontier communes are Clérey-the-Coast (the Vosges), Sauvigny (Meuse) and Narrow Mount-the (Meurthe-et-Moselle).
