Sit and battles (S) of Kut-el-Amara

August 27th, 1915 . the MIDDLE EAST . MESOPOTAMIE

The British general to sir Charles Townshend, recently returned from a permission for health reason, in India, receives the order to advance on Kut-el-Amara, an importance bases Turkish located on the Tigre, with 500 km in the north of the principal British base of Bassora.
