Sit-in

The sit-in is a method of direct intervention which consists in sitting down on the public highway, in a public edifice or an private establishment and to remain more the possible for a long time on the spot. It can be a question of a sitted demonstration having for objective to challenge the opinion and the public authorities on such situation of injustice. The sit in allows an effective occupation of the ground which should then be difficult to clean by the police force.
