Sisters of the Very Holy Saver
The Sisters of the Very Holy Saver or Sœurs of Niederbronn form a religious Congrégation founded Catholique with Niederbronn-the-Baths, with the foot of the last buttresses of the the Vosges in the Département of the Low-Rhine, the August 28th 1849 by Elisabeth Eppinger.
The latter, born the September 9th 1814 with Niederbronn-the-Baths, was the elder one of the 11 children of a modest plowman. It had been seriously sick. Also, helped by the priest of his parish, the abbot Jean-David Reichard (1796 - 1867) it wanted to gather some partners to make known the tenderness and the mercy of God, particularly with those which are in the suffering (patients, elderly or isolated for various reasons…)
They are thus apostolic nuns.
