The Sœurs missionaries of the Assumption form a Congrégation religious apostolic catholic founded in the Cape in 1852.
She was founded by scission of with the Religieuses of the Assumption by Mère Marie-Gertrude Henningsen (1822-1904). Higher the general current one is Sœur Barbara Standing, the house généralice in Johannesburg (South Africa).
The congregation counts 120 nuns divided into 15 communities. They belong to the family Assomptionniste.
