The Ambassade of France in China is the representation of the France in Popular republic of China, with Beijing (Beijing). In 2007, the ambassador of France in China is Mr. Herve Ladsous.

France officially recognized the Popular republic of China the January 27th 1964. This date is the starting point of the Franco-Chinese bilateral relations. For the 40e birthday of these relations, the Chinese president Hu Jintao came to France for 4 days from official visits.

The business of the Honoured Censure (April 3rd, 2007)

April 3rd, 2007, with the Embassy of France, Mr. Long Xinmin was made knight of the Légion of honor. Mr. Long is the managing director of the administration of the press and the publication. I.e. quite simply the Chief of the Chinese censure.

Moreover, the photographs of the ceremony were " supprimées" following denunciations of Web sites (cf references at the foot of the page). From now on, no allusion to decoration is within range.
