Sissi vis-a-vis its destiny

Sissi vis-a-vis its destiny ( Sissi - Schicksalsjahre einer Kaiserin Sissi ) is an Austrian film carried out by Ernst Marischka, left in 1957. It was nominated in 1958 for the Palme of gold of the Cannes festival. The film is based on the history in love with the empress Sissi played by Romy Schneider and with the emperor François-Joseph played by Karlheinz Böhm.

Synopsis

The Empire is agitated by Hungarian revolutionists dissatisfied with their attachment at the House of Austria. Sissi decides her husband to leave for Hungary in order to calm the spirits…
