Princesse Sissi is a Televised series of Animation Franco - Canadian in 52 26 minutes episodes, created by Bruno Bianchi and diffused starting from October 27th, 1997 on France 3 in the emission Minikeums .

Synopsis

The series tells in a rather free way the history of the Impératrice of Austria Elisabeth de Wittelsbach, called “Sissi”.

Sissi, young person and modest Bavarian duchess alive with its family in the castle of Possi, is promised in marriage to Franz, the young emperor of Austria. However, her mother, the empress Sophie does not see an good eye this connection.

Sissi, its family and her friends will have to face several enemies such as jealous the Hélèna, the brutal Count Arkas who wants to seize the castle of Possi as well as machiavelic Zottornic, to advise of the Sophie empress.

Sissi initially will have to make accept its relation with Franz with her father, who is against the Austrian government, and with the Sophia empress. Then, to the palate, it will have to accept the hard conditions of princess and to learn a protocol to which she is not accustomed.
