Sisimiut

Sisimiut (in Danish Holsteinsborg ) is a city and locality in the south-west of the Greenland, in the county of Kitaa (Western Greenland). It is the second city of Greenland with 5  247 inhabitants in 2005. It is with approximately, 75 km in the north of the polar circle actic. It is the free port of ice all the year more in north of Greenland.

On the territory of the municipality, one also finds the villages and campings of Itilleq, Sarfannguaq and Kangerlussuaq where the most important airport of Greenland is.
