Sirr

The Sirr is a term pertaining to the Arab lexicon of spirituality soufie. Sirr, one of six subtleties ( Lataif-e-sitta ), wants to indicate the inexpressible one, the unutterable one, the incommunicable one. This " secrecy spirituel" , expresses at the same time the spiritual deposit (Al-amana) whose is guaranteeing a main soufi and the residence of this one which is the heart or the center to be it, symbolized by the pulp of a fruit in certain translations. It indicates also the initiatory impulse of the Cheykh conveyed by the spiritual practice (Dhikr) and by which the interior transmutation of the disciple takes place.

Six subtleties are: Nafs, Qalb, Sirr, Ruh, Khafi, and Akhfa
