Sino-auricular block

The sino-auricular block is a disorder of the conduction of the nerve impulse between the sinusal Nœud and the auricle, (of the deceleration to the interruption of the nerve impulse).

Private clinic

The subject can be completely asymptomatic (it does not describe any clinical sign), it can be found during the sounding, of the catch of the pulse, a Bradycardie. It can present Malaise S.

Electrocardiogram

One distinguishes 3 types of BSA (Sino-Auricular Block):
  • standard 1: lengthening of sino-auricular conduction; no the anomaly with the standard ECG
  • 2: complete blocking but intermittent of sino-auricular conduction; intermittent absence of wave p with the ECG. Interval RR with the wave p blocked is a multiple of basic interval RR.
  • standard 3: complete blocking and total of sino-auricular conduction; total absence of wave p with the ECG. Synonym = exhaust jonctionnel

Causes

Acute forms

Chronic forms

They are related to a fibrous degeneration on the level of the sinusal Nœud.

Treatment

The cause should first of all be treated.
It is possible to use Atropine.
