The Sinagua were Amerindian people which occupied the south-west of the the current United States, in the central area of the Arizona. Their culture opened out between 500 and approximately 1300 before disappearing mysteriously. Certain archeologists compare them to the Anasazis.

The origin of the word " Sinagua" is Spanish: sin means " sans" and agua means " eau" , which is an error because Sinagua had a perfect command of the techniques of the irrigation.
