Simulationnism
The simulationnism is an artistic movement which one finds with the the United States at the beginning of the Années 1980.
It consists to produce “reproductions of reproductions”, to employ manufactured objects, to photograph photographs, etc
The most famous artists who represent the simulationnism are Barbara Kruger, Allan Mc Callum, Richard Prince or Jeff Koons.
The simulationnists estimate through their art that reality is saturated with Signe S and representations which encumber reality instead of revealing it. Art then becomes an instrument of the critic at the time when art is a support of illusions.
