Asked by the players, Sims 2: In the course of the years has as a main new thing the run of the Saisons. Each season lasts 5 days but can be lengthened by a reward of aspiration. Gardening and Vegésims

Gardening

The gardening is another innovation of this extension. Sims can cultivate Fruit S and Légume S such as the strawberries, the Pomme S, the Tomate S, the Concombre S, which can be sold or collected in the personal interest of Sims. These cultures can be exploited outside, in a Potager but also inside a Serre in the event of bad weather or of temperatures being able to be harmful for the cultures (snow, for example). The cultures are more or less good according to if they are well maintained and if the seedlings are sprinkled and treated. At the beginning, Sims can only cultivate tomatos, then lemons, apples and oranges and finally, when Sim has the Or badge in gardening, it with the possibility of planting sweet peppers, comcombres, strawberries, French beans and eggplants.

Végésims

If Sims misuse pesticides, it tranforment in Végésims . They are being-plants, greens, with a hairstyle in the shape of flower. They have only three needs to satisfy: to have enough light, to be hydrated well and to receive affection thanks to the social interactions. These Végésims can nevertheless have sexual relations, marry and to have children. Sims born or transformed into Végésims automatically obtains a Or badge in gardening and with the ability being able to speak with the plants. It is possible to cure vegesimism by buying a potion with the club of gardening.

Other innovations

Lastly, the add one adds many objects whose Toboggan S for swimming pools, of the Patinoire S, the tracks of Skate but can also fish if there is a pond, during all the year except the Hiver, where the fish are absent. There are also innovations with regard to construction, in particular on the level of the swimming pools, which can now be of round form.

At the vestimentary level, Sims must choose, in addition to the various existing categories (daily clothing, of evening, underclothing…) clothing of outside in the event of cold and each one of these categories can be associated with a specific hairstyle.

Music

This additional disc contains the musical genres New Age and Jamband . The station New Age uses the songs originating in the original play, Sims of the purchase mode, which reveals a feeling of nostalgia first play. Certain popular songs were modified in Simlish:
