Quotations
I rely in you, your force, your love of the universal life. Your meeting counted much for me. You are one of the strongest poets of this time. Jean Rousselot (in a letter of the 2/28/2004, after its reading of Limping of the world ).
… the way of writing achieved by Jacques Simonomis could only lead to install it, with insolence, in authentic witness of our time. Contrary to the makers. Gerard Cléry (the New Modern Review, N° 12).
You see, whereas the sun grimace in the gleam of the shutters, cold Poetry without you, your " blows of gueule" , without your good-naturedness . Pascal Dupuy (Poetry on the Seine N° 52).
Poem of Jacques Simonomis
THE HOUSE OF THE WORLD
- In the house of the world
- there are children
- with or without parents
- of the white of the blacks of the yellows
- of the reds
- in the house which moves.
- Autour grinds the enemies
- the hunger thirst the disease
- unemployment and the bombs.
- It is necessary to fight for the beauty of the world.
- For you your neighbor mine
- it his
- for the children who will be born
- tomorrow very far and who differently speak
- in the house about the world
- of which we are the grains
- of responsible sand
- white yellow blacks red
- in the house which moves
- around the common sun.
