Simon Singh , born in 1964, is a British author and scientific journalist, holder of a doctorate in Nuclear physics. It specialized in the popularization of mathematical and scientific subjects. His/her older brother is Tom Singh.

He in particular wrote the books the last theorem of Fermat , and Histoire of the secret codes .
