Simon Pfaff de Pfaffenhoffen

Simon Pfaff de Pfaffenhoffen , Austrian baron, born with Vienna in 1715, exiled in France after a mortal duel at the Court of Vienna, is established with Saint-Riquier in 1750. It decorated the church and the sacristy with the Abbaye of Valloires (Somme). He dies in Avallon in 1784.

Godfather of the painter Jean Simon Berthélemy, the presence of Pfaff de Pfaffenhoffen to this baptism allows to know it in France since 1745.
