Simon Kirke , (July 28th 1949), British musician , is a Batteur of rock'n'roll having officiated within the groups Free and Bad Company.

Its play of battery characterized by a heavy striking is a pillar of the sound of Free, between 1968 and 1973. During the first separation of the group, fine 1970, it will follow the Guitariste Paul Kossoff with which it will leave the album Kossoff, Kirke, Tetsu and Rabbit , in company of the clavierist texan John " Rabbit" Bundrick , and of the Bass player Japanese Tetsu Yamauchi .
