Simon Astier

Simon Astier is a Acteur and Scénariste French. He interprets the role of Yvain in the series Kaamelott of his half-brother Alexandre Astier and is one of the authors of the series Off Premium in which he also plays. It is known that it was approximately 23 years old in 2007 but its precise birth date is not known

Biography

Simon Astier is the son of the actors Lionnel Astier and Josée Drevon. After some trades artisic, as musician or assembler, Simon Astier chooses to become actor, but also author. Its first experiment takes place in family, with her father and his half-brother, Alexandre Astier, at the time of the Festival of Avignon. It integrates then a troop of actors, with Lyon, “the Company and its crew”, with which it plays at the same time of the traditional parts and the parts signed by the troop.

In 2004, it is with the poster of the film Mariages! , in a small role. With a former friend of college, the actor Alban Lenoir, it plays the part Between two which it signs, while Alban Lenoir deals with the setting in scene. Then it becomes Yvain, the brother-in-law denied of King Arthur in the series Kaamelott , produced by CALT and diffused on M6 as from January 2005 (it had already a small role, different, in short-measuring Dies iræ , at the origin of the series).

In 2006, Simon Astier is chosen by M6 and Virginia Efira to take part in the writing of the series Off Premium with Christophe Fort. Following artistic dissensions, he becomes the only person in charge of the dialogs of the series, in which he interprets the role of Sam, at the sides in particular of Alban Lenoir.
