Simiane-Collongue
Simiane-Collongue (in Occitan Of Provence Simiana-Caulònga according to the traditional standard or Simiano-Cóulongo according to the Standard mistralienne) is a common French, located in the department of the Rhone delta and the area Provence-Alp-Coast of Azure. Its inhabitants is called Simianais.
Geography
History
Under prehistory: The plain Bordering on Gardanne being a large marsh, tribes nourishing gathering and of hunting lived in the neighborhoods of the Rammer of the King. In particular the collar co. Shortly after the revolution and the appearance of the communes, the village will be attached to the canton of Gardanne. In 1791 the commune is called Collongue and this until in 1814 or it changes in favor of Simiane. 1919 will have to be waited until to obtain the final name of Simiane-Collongue
