Vastin Lespy was born in Simacourbe. Author of about fifty works (Grammar and dictionary inhabitant of Béarn, Sayings and proverbs…). He is buried with Oloron-Holy-Marie, with the old cemetery of Holy-Cross, in the tomb of the family of Dufourcq - Galtier d' Auriac.
