Wire of the strategist Sima Yi, it is equipped with a great genius for the military tactics, which worries his/her father largely. Much less appreciated by CAD CAD than this last, he sees himself refusing a myriad of promotions and finishes under the orders of Sima Yi. This one, anxious to become the ultimate strategist of the Wei, sends it in exile a long moment. However, when the emperor CAD pi takes the full powerss, it immediately draws aside Sima Yi of its functions, that it gives to various strategists, of which Sima Zhao, returned clandestinely in the capital.

Unfortunately for him, it is not worth his father, who, after the many failures of the Wei in the West, is recalled urgently. One then gives fully his old capacities to him. However, its advancing age, it ends up accepting Sima Zhao, to which it offers courses of strategy. When CAD Rui succeeds CAD pi, it depends enormously on CAD Shuang and Sima Zhao. The son (or perhaps brother) of this last, Sima Yan, is also a very appreciated strategist of the young emperor.

Sima Zhao serves the Wei accurately, even if it secretly wishes to seize the power. When Sima Yi starts to weaken, it charges his son with providing his functions and Sima Zhao then becomes Grand Strategist of the Empire. However, CAD Shuang is wary of him and, while playing of its influence near the young emperor, it does it congédier. With died CAD Rui, CAD Shuang seizes the imperial throne. It sinks then in idleness, but lance nevertheless some campaigns, which will not end. Reducing Sima Yi to tasks as futile as useless, it is victim of a coup d'etat, orchestrated by the deposed strategist, but directed by Sima Yan. To final, CAD Shuang gives its functions to Sima Yi, which makes it carry out.

With died of Sima Zhao, it is Sima Yan which succeeds to him.
