Sima Yi (179 - 251), also spelled Sseu-My Yi (Chinese traditional: zh-Hant 司馬懿; simplified: zh-Hant 司马懿; Pinyin: Sīmǎ Yì) was a Chinese strategist of the time of the end of the Dynastie Han and period of the Three Kingdoms. It served initially the Prime Minister CAD CAD, then the emperors of the dynasty Wei. Its grandson will seize the power and will melt the Dynastie Jin.
Sima Yi had for social Prénom Zhongda (zh-Hant 仲達), and with the dedication of the dynasty Jin accepted the posthumous title of Xuan emperor of Jin (zh-Hant 晉宣帝) and the name of temple of Gaozu (zh-Hant 高祖). Sima Yi is known in Japan under the name of Shibai Chōtatsu and in Korea under that of Samaeui Jungdal .
Sima Yi is a genious strategist to the service of the Royaume of Wei, which officiates initially as a manager of the internal businesses. Very quickly, its talent is noticed by CAD CAD, and it is employed in many battles.
Considered for its ideas of genius, it competes with legendary the Zhuge Liang. It carefully avoids the traps of the Prime Minister for Shu but fears the ingeniousness of this one largely. It is finally the destiny which decides between these two geniuses: during the battle of the plains of Wu Zhang, each one of between-them implements a crowd of tactics to mislead the other. But, whereas the Shu takes the advantage on the Wei, Zhuge Liang ends up dying of disease, for the greatest joy of Sima Yi.
CAD CAD advises with its successor and wire, CAD pi, to employ Sima Yi only while being wary of him, being with the current of its political ambitions. During one short period, the large strategist is thus put at the variation of the go concern. However, following the multiple failures of Wei in the West, he is quickly recalled to the country. The direction of the army then is entrusted to him.
Against any waiting, it is used accurately the kingdom as Wei. It will be its grandson, Sima Yan, which will destitura CAD Huan and will thus pose the bases of the dynasty Jin.
