History

Animutants

Silverbot belonged to many the protoforms carried on board vessel Alaxon, and which was released at the time of the crash landing. Later, its capsule of survival was crushed on the Earth, at the same time as another capsule, which lands just at side. Well the two capsules were not in a position to function yet all alone, protoforms that they contained was seriously damaged on the level of the memory, and their scanners were put out of order. Thus, at the time to find forms of life animal for the passengers, the scanners copied the DNA of the surrounding beings well, but mixed them. When both protoforms left their capsules, they did not have not only any idea of what they were, but had in addition to the animal mode bizarroïdes, mixtures strange of the animals scannés by their capsules: thus, Silverbot spouts out in the shape of a wolf with wings and greenhouses of eagle, while its neighbor, Quickstrike, appeared in the shape of a scorpion with a head of cobra in the place of the dart…

Hardly both fuzors had left their capsules that Quickstrike, aggressive and without remembering of its origin, of taken with Silverbot. Their confrontation was interromput by Inferno, which attacked them without apparent reason. In spite of the councils of Silverbot, which believed that this attack was an error and that it was necessary to discuss with Inferno, Quickstrike preferred to attack the warrior prédator. Not having arrived, after an attempt, to reason Inferno, Silverbot united to the fight, but both fuzor not having the knowledge of their modes robots, they were quickly pushed back by Inferno, which however ceased attacking them on… l'" ordre" of Mégatron (which stopped the combat by striking Inferno of a blow of tail).

Then mixing truth and the forgery, Mégatron affirmed to both fuzors which this attack was indeed only one lamentable erreure, and which all were prédators. In front of their septicism, it changed, explained to them how to do it (by pronouncing the code of activation prédator: " Terrorize") and explained to them that, if they were many prédators, they could also change. They tested, and changed indeed. Both thus united the prédators.

Nevertheless, Silverbot did not feel at all at ease with the prédators, on the one hand because of the authoritative behavior of Mégatron, and then because it did not include/understand the obstiniation of his comrades to face the other faction of robots, the maximals. At the time of an attack against the base maximum, it was made prisoner, and had the surprise to note that the character and the values of the maximals approached much as of his that those of the prédators. A little later undoubtedly lit by primal Optimus, it understood that Mégatron had lied to him, and that he was actually itself maximum. Vis-a-vis this revelation, it chooses to join its true similar, and was turned over against Mégatron.

Thereafter, Silverbot remained side of the maximals during all the series. It developed a relation with the Black Widow, which it even managed to bring back on the maximum side. At the end of season 3, it belongs to the maximals which return on Cybertron.

Beast machines: Jetstorm, then the return of Silverbot

In Beast machines, Silverbot is, with Rhinox, captured by véhicons, which withdraw its vital spark to him. Later, Mégatron reanimates this one and makes use of it to create one of its three generals: Jetstorm. Old the paladin maximum then becomes a drone-plane of big size, arrogant and rather chatterer, who is used the cause as Mégatron. Of course, nobody suspects that it was in the beginning a maximal.
When the maximals discover that the generals of Mégatron are modified maximals, they undertake to try to release them. The Black Widow, persuaded that Silverbot became Trust, organizes a plan to bring back it to the reason. The plan functions, but she discovers that Trust is actually Byznator. Jetstorm intervenes then, and is accidentally taken in the same trap, recovering a few moments its old personality. The Black Widow learns thus that it is actually Silverbot.
, Jetstorm continuous to serve Mégatron thereafter accurately, until the beginning of season 2, where Rattrap designs for the Black Widow a scanner. Thanks to a skilful trick, the Black Widow traps Jetstorm, the scanner in the back and the refomate fixes to him: it becomes again Silverbot, with from now on a body techno-organics and an animal mode of Condor. But he regrets its past of véhicon, which he does not forgive himself, and has of the evil to be reinstated in his comrades. As of its return, it decides to put an end to its relation with the Black Widow.

Description

Character

Silverbot is the maximum equivalent of the " knight in his armor scintillante". True paladin, it follows a code moral very strict, shown altruism and behaves noblement possible. It agrees to fight only if the reasons are good, refuses to show mean action (in " Bad Spark" , he refuses to fight with the Black Widow by respect for the fact that she is a girl, and goes even until defending it) and defends with devotion the maximum ideal. Rare case at old the prédators become maximals (Dinobot and the Black Widow), it has all the confidence of his/her comrades, including Rattrap. One can note that, following the example Quickstrike, whose arrival is often accompanied by a music of Western, a music of knight is often made hear with that of Silverbot.
