Silver plated plover

The plover silver plated is a migrating Limicole of intermediate size.

Identification

The silver plated plover is long on leg and has a rather short nozzle is thick by relationship with the other limicolous ones.

In summer its plumage is contrasted: black in front of, above of the white head and back with the silver plated reasons.

Its winter plumage is more uniform and grisâtre.

Habitat
