Silvano Meli , born on August 11th, 1960, is a alpine skier Suisse

After its sporting retirement, he becomes director of the company Héliport Leysin , renamed thereafter Héli-Chablais based with Leysin. December 23rd, 2003, it is victim of an accident the Hélicoptère with the tops of the Diablerets which make a death and four wounded.

In 2006, it is submitted and is elected to the Town council of the commune of Leysin.
