Silent have

サイレント・アイ ( sairento have , of the English “silent eye” meaning “quiet eye”) is a Manga of Michiyo Akaishi.

Summary of the history

Airi Makimura, eighteen years, is professional Mannequin. During a photo session, it meets the Photographe Daiki Kushima, and both fall in love. Airi then decides to become also photographer, in order to be able to follow his friend in his work.

Daiki, to become famous, agrees to leave as photographer Guerre in Chetchnia, in full fight against the Russia. It disappears during an interview from a personality. Only remain traces of sound Sang and its Camera, which took sixteen photographs.

Airi obtains from the brother of Daiki the permission to use this apparatus in its work. Very quickly, it realizes that it contains a strange capacity: the photo seventeenth always shows, in overprinting, a reality relating to the subject…

Characters

Airi Makimura (): mannequin, it is the girl of a rich person business man and one of his mistresses. She grew in a poor district of the city. Its character leads it to plunge body and heart in what interests.
Daiki Kushima (): photographer free lance who seeks to have a name, it falls in love with Airi. Left in Tchéchénie, it is reported missing.
Taiga Kushima (): older brother of Daiki, it works in the edition. He helps Airi in his work, and is with the current of the mystery of the camera.
Hidaka (日高): salesman in the shop where Airi makes develop its photographs, it lavishes various councils to him on the way of photographing. Photographer during his free times, it however never takes human beings, only Paysage S.

Publication

This manga comprises twenty chapters, headings “シャッター・チャンス” ( shattā chansu ), initially published between May 1997 and September 2001 in the Magazine Puchi Comic. It was published in six volumes connected to the editions Flower Comics between January 1998 and September 2001.

A news in report/ratio was published in the collection Desert Storm, of the same author.
