Wire illegitimate of Sigurd II of Norway it is high in Oppland by Markus de Skog a partisan of its father. Proclaimed king in 1162 after the death of Håkon II of Norway it tries to be essential against the regent Erling Skakke father of the king Magnus V of Norway, but it is overcome and decapitated in Gravdal while Markus is hung with Kvarven in the south-west of Bergen the September 29th 1163.
