Castle of Sigournais (the Vendée)

Feudal castle rebuilt at the 15th century by Philibert of Holy-Flayve. Polygonal enclosure and keep-carries with covered way, on machicolation, entirely covered. original Archères-drain-holes.

Guided visits in July - August every afternoon, and on go except season.
