Sigismund Thalberg
Sigismund Thalberg is a pianist and Austrian type-setter born with Geneva the January 7th 1812 and died with Naples the April 27th 1871.

If he is almost forgotten today, Thalberg was an immense success of pianist in Europe of the 19th century. In spite of that, Thalberg received only praises at its time and in particular by the largest pianists of the beginning of XIXe.
