Sight of Marseilles: Tournament and festival on water are a table of Charles Eschard exposed to the Salon of 1791, n° 50.

It is an oil on fabric of 82,5 by 12,5 cm. Work reappeared in 1852, at the time of an auction, under an attribution with Joseph Vernet, it was preserved at New York with the Metropolitan Museum off Art, then was sold by this museum he was necessary to wait the year 1999 so that this table finds its true identity.
