Sigebert Ier
Sigebert Ier , born in 535, died in 575 with Vitry.
Wire of Clotaire Ier. King of Austrasie in 561 with died of his/her father who divided the kingdom of France into 4 parts.
In 566, he marries Brunehilde, girl of king Wisigoth Athanagild.
In 567, the death of his/her brother Caribert Ier gives him the kingdom of Paris.
In 567, Galswinthe, the sister of Brunehilde and woman of Chilpéric Ier, king of Neustrie his brother, is assassinated (strangled in its bed, probably on order of Frédégonde the future woman of Chilpéric). Sigebert is decided to avenge his/her beautiful sister, it is the beginning of a war between Neustrie and Austrasie which lasted strong a long time.
In 573, it seizes the Poitou and the Touraine, then the year according to fact call to the barbarians to fight his Chilpéric half-brother who returned thus his conquests in Aquitaine. An agreement is signed but Chilpéric breaks it and Sigebert seizes the kingdom of his/her brother in 575. Whereas it was going to be made crown king, it was assassinated with Vitry, stabbed by emissary of Frédégonde.
His/her son Childebert II which does not have that 5 years is proclaimed king d' Austrasie in Metz.
