Sierra Nevada Brewing Company

The Sierra Nevada Brewing Company is a American Brasserie founded in 1979 by Ken Grossman and Paul Camusi (this last took its retirement in 1998 and sold its shares in Grossman). It markets Bière S since February 1981 and is based with Chico, in California.

It is about the second larger brewery of artisanal Bière in the United States, behind the Boston Beer Company, with approximately 600  000 barrels per annum, is approximately 510  000 hL. Its leading product is a Pale ale, but it also produces beers of season.

The brewery comprises also désomais a Broue-pub - Restaurant, The Sierra Nevada Taproom & Restaurant, as well as a room of Concert S, The Big Room.

The Master-brewer is Steve Dressler since 1983, when the brewery did not produce whereas 25 to 30 barrels per week. Even if the Nevada Sierra is sometimes indicated like a Microbrasserie, the volume of its annual production the place from now on in the category of the artisanal beer brewers.
