The Sienan school of Peinture in Italy extends from 14th to the 16th century and parallel to develops the pictorial art of the school florentine, by a taste refined for the color, inherited Byzance and by an early concern to assimilate modes of expression the Gothic S, which distinguishes it from the principles that one traditionally allots to the Italian Renaissance, of purest Byzantine tradition of Duccio di Buoninsegna, with Simone Martini, Pietro and Ambrogio Lorenzetti, Domenico and Taddeo di Bartolo, Stefano (it Sassetta ) and Matteo di Giovanni.
