Sidney Lumet (born the June 25th 1924) is a American Réalisateur , with more than 50 Film S under its direction, of which Twelve Men in anger ( 12 Angry Men ) acclaimed by criticism in 1957 and Control on the TV ( Network ) in 1976. It gained Academy Award for Lifetime Achievement in 2005 for its " brilliances services rendered to the scenario writers, to actors and with the art of the cinéma".

Lumet was an actor before being a realizer. His/her parents were the actor of Théâtre Yiddish Baruch Lumet and the dancer Eugenia Wermus. Lumet is assembled for the first time on the boards with the Yiddish Art Theater of New York at the four years age and played in the Yiddish theaters and of Broadway until in the years 1950.
