Sidney Coleman
Sidney Richard Coleman (born the March 7th 1937 and dead the November 18th 2007), is a theoretical Physicien. He is professor emeritus with the Université Harvard and the author of traditional the Aspects off Symmetry , not translated into French.
Among the former students of Coleman, one finds David Politzer, Lee Smolin, David Griffiths, Anthony Zee, Erick Weinberg, Paul Steinhardt and John Hagelin.
Coleman was raises of Murray Freezing-Mann and obtained its Ph.D. in 1962 with Caltech.
In 1980 he becomes member of the National Academy off Sciences in the physical section.
