Siding Spring Survey

The Siding Spring Survey (SSS) is a research program of objects géocroiseurs which uses the telescope of Schmidt Uppsala of 50 cm of the Observatoire of Siding Spring, News-Wales of the South in Australia. It is the counterpart for the southern hemisphere of the Catalina Sky Survey (CSS) located on the Mont Bigelow in the Montagnes Santa Catalina, close to Tucson in the Arizona with the E. - U.. The SSS is led jointly by the Université of Arizona and by the Australian National university, with a financing of NASA.

The SSS (code observatory UAI E12) is located at the Observatoire of Siding Spring (code observatory UAI 413): Longitude 149.1 is, Latitude 31.3 south and altitude 1150 m, roughly to 400 km in the North-West of Sydney in Australia.
