The side furrow (in the past fissure of Sylvius of the name of Franciscus of Boë Sylvius, Dutch anatomist) is a Sillon traversing the surface of the Cerveau. Starting of the lower face of the brain, this furrow moves upwards and the back on each cerebral Hémisphère. The furrow separates several reliefs of which the frontal Lobe and the parietal Lobe in top of the temporal Lobe in bottom.
