Sid Sackson
Sid Sackson (1920 with Chicago, Illinois - November 6th 2002) was important a author of board games states-unien.
Its most important creation is probably Acquire (whose French edition bore the name of Grand Hotel ). He is also the author of Can' T Stop and Focus which gained the prestigious German price Spiel of Jahres.
He also wrote books on the plays, whose has Gamut off Ranges and Card Games Around the World . These two titles present multiples rule S of old and modern plays, including one great number was of its creation.
Sid Sackson collected the plays during all its life. At the time of its death, the size of its collection was estimated at 18000 titles. Among those, many single parts which were sent to him by authors of plays requesting his opinion. The plays were sold with the biddings shortly after its death, dispersing the collection.
